Liar 02:48
I suffer brutalities since I was young They told me that it was just a game I was vulnerable, I was an easy prey Mom told me that it was for my good You're a liar, I prayed, God didn't save me You're a liar, I tried, I didn't succeed You're a liar, I made it, but you hurt me You're a liar, I cried, nothing is changed I suffer brutalities since I was young They told me that it was just a game I was vulnerable, I was an easy prey Mom told me that it was for my good Dad didn't see, he had no idea They were her friends, mommy's friends They're many and large, I could do nothing They pushed me into the bathroom and it was then... You're a liar, I prayed, God didn't save me You're a liar, I tried, I didn't succeed You're a liar, I made it, but you hurt me You're a liar, I cried, nothing is changed I really “Wish You Were Dead Now” You don't know the hell I've been through Fuck you, bitch, You don't care of me Fuck you, bitch, You tried to kill me You're a liar, I prayed, God didn't save me You're a liar, I tried, I didn't succeed You're a liar, I made it, but you hurt me You're a liar, I cried, nothing is changed You're a liar, I prayed, God didn't save me You're a liar, I tried, I didn't succeed You're a liar, I made it, but you hurt me You're a liar, I cried, nothing is changed Bitch!

They come out of nowhere, thieves, crooks They choose the way, the way of wealth, fuck you I'll be explicit, it hurts? I hope so 'cause I'm sick Hey, over there, don't lie, you're the mirror of this shit We are controlled by assholes They suck our souls, make our life poor Every day we have to face the usual show And the best part is that we don't know A thousand ways to fuck, to fuck our species You don't know how it's easy, let them down in the street, it's too easy We are controlled by assholes They suck our souls, make our life poor Every day we have to face the usual show And the best part is that we don't know We don't know, we don't know We are controlled by assholes They suck our souls, make our life poor Every day we have to face the usual show And the best part is that we don't know And the best part is that we don't know

Freedom Cage 03:25
When we were born a right was given to us: the speech Now the powerful control it The regression is now too strong, it can't be stopped The involution has covered the human's mind And money dominates the world Which is falling apart And we are too Our freedom is limited, they want it How can I express myself in a freedom cage? Break the cage down now before my eyes Wake up and rebel, motherfucker I'm so sick and tired of being called a sheep In a world of wolves that is constantly covered in shit The pieces of this dying world now have no meaning for me The air I breathe is like the ground below my feet I must admit I've grown fond of this When all we crave is to die for something big Mark my words, just wait and see I'm afraid of anything except for being truly free Our freedom is limited, they want it How can I express myself in a freedom cage? Break the cage down now before my eyes Wake up and rebel, motherfucker Fragile, weakened, society You're not who you were meant to be Super-massive entropy Stare at your world now sinking deep Poor men, they don't know what to do Freedom is now a memory Try to survive the prophecy I always give the best of me Our freedom is limited, they want it How can I express myself in a freedom cage? Break the cage down now before my eyes Wake up and rebel, motherfucker Our freedom is limited, they want it How can I express myself in a freedom cage? Break the cage down now before my eyes Wake up and rebel, motherfucker

While I look myself in the mirror I perceive what I lost The days gone by stare at me In the deep of my dreams Time will wait for no-one So seize the day and be who you are You're only chasing ghosts of your past Don't waste your soul on someone's else My thoughts are heavier than before The end is near but I won't give in Feeling pain straight to the core I'm a soul that wanders through his dreams Time will wait for no-one So seize the day and be who you are You're only chasing ghosts of your past Don't waste your soul on someone's else Dreamcatchers float in the wind Dreamcatchers float in the wind Dreamcatchers float in the wind Dreamcatchers float in the breeze Dreamcatchers float in the breeze Dreamcatchers float in the breeze Time will wait for no-one So seize the day and be who you are You're only chasing ghosts of your past Don't waste your soul on someone's else Time will wait for no-one So seize the day and be who you are I found the passion to carry on The impulse of life that makes me strong Whenever the darkness approaches me I utter this line and wait for you

about

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Through this demo we tried to link the five themes dealt in the five songs contained in it in order to create a short concept album.
The narration follows an ascending path; first of all, the story begins with a tormented and problematic childhood shown by a mutilated teddy-bear laying at the bottom of the cage. This first subject was depicted in the song “Liar” which talks about paedophilia, in this case perpetrated by the actual parents.
Moving on, we can find how the grown child partly succeeded in overcoming his grim youth, in fact we see him seated on the perch. However, he is portrayed as a dummy, a being conformed by the plethora of external influences inculcated in it by a society pursuing the control of the population. He is still conditioned by the cage. Consumerism is just one of the many brainwashing to which we are constantly and subconsciously subjected to, it is an integration tool. Thus, the slave finds himself fulfilled since he is now accepted by the community without even realising how he is merely satisfying the blueprints of a society progressively more and more stifling. These topics are expressed in “Explicit Truth” and in “FLB”. Respectively: a direct message to politicians exhorting them to meditate on their conduct and on their real directive. The message is to focus on the management of a country full of people and not just mere numbers.
There's more, we arrive at the cage. The cage can be interpreted as a condition which surrounds us since our birth and by which we are controlled, it’s up to us to free ourselves. Based upon the several interpretations that can be suggested, the cage can assume various meanings: it can be viewed as the set of prejudices with which we get labelled on the basis of how we look, our ethnicity, our social condition and so on.. It can be perceived also as a state of social and economic oppression. In our context the latter is preferred: a cage as a perpetual form of subjugation and as a lack of free speech and of freedom in general. Harking back to Marcuse – who said that democracy is just a formal concept and that in the end the vote resides in the hands of few – and extending his thought to other areas of interest: if it might seem that today we are granted all these liberties, our perception is indeed warped because it’s just an illusion moulded to mitigate the potential impetuous and revolutionary action which dwells in the masses. These views trace back to the leitmotif expressed in “Freedom Cage”, track that looks into freedom and more specifically into freedom of speech simultaneously inciting a form of redemption.
Lastly we come to the final passage of this “journey”, the symbol used are the keys. The individual is expected to act and to fight for a better life, he has to descend from the point where he is now to finally ascend. A fall from his position is necessary therefore he needs to remember his past to be then done with it, with his burdensome infancy. This requires self-sacrifice and bravery for the drop will be painful, reliving the past will be painful, and this liberation in the personal sphere may or may not lead to a liberation in the public sphere, the emancipation from the system’s control. Likewise, it is accurate to affirm that his past has been an irrefutable source which led partially to the development and definition of our protagonist’s character, a strong character which allowed him to carry out his ultimate decision, evading. “Dreamcatchers” is evoked is this last section. An interior dialogue of the protagonist that, caught by recurrent existential doubts, attempts to respond to those questions that pop in our mind throughout existence. The “Key Of Existence” is the continuous searching for this reply, an incessant need to find the impulse that drives us forward. The research of passion, of the urge, of the meaning is the actual key of existence and the dreamcatchers are the material element which mostly represent the path of the one that seeks answers: he has to overcome adversities, nightmares, to reach the Dream.
